Our Values

Zero Waste -
Zero Food Waste

The nature of our product — flash-frozen immediately after preparation — not only preserves its quality until the moment of consumption, but also allows for proper management to avoid waste and food loss.

In this way, at Costumes Galicia, we help our clients reduce the surpluses typically generated during production and in many food establishments. In a society where inequalities remain significant, both in developing countries and in more advanced economies, the lack of planning often leads not only to higher costs but also to avoidable waste.

Every small gesture helps reduce food waste. That’s why we offer you a frozen product with a shelf life of 3 years, which for most of our clients means a simple and easy way to manage stock and achieve the goal of “zero waste!”.

We promote sustainable and
responsible consumption

Platforms like “Too Good To Go”, together with factors such as the nature of our frozen product and its 3-year shelf life once baked, can help us achieve the goal of reducing food waste — for example, when managing food surpluses.

We encourage you to get involved!

What sets us apart: the Craft

The SDGs are 17 goals adopted by the UN with the mission of creating a fairer, more equitable and sustainable future for all people and the planet.

At Costumes Galicia, we are particularly committed to several of them

  • SDG 2. Zero Hunger

    SDG 2. Zero Hunger

The 2030 Agenda is a global action plan adopted by 193 countries in 2015 to achieve sustainable development by 2030. It is based on 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and 169 targets. Its purpose is to promote social, economic and environmental well-being for all, addressing challenges such as poverty, inequality, climate change and environmental degradation, with the aim of “leaving no one behind”.

Although Costumes Galicia is committed to all 17 goals, currently, due to the nature of our organisation and the products we make and distribute, we contribute directly to 7 of them, as detailed in this SDG section.
